About Rocklea Diesel

Rocklea Diesel is a specialised workshop offering age and experience with youth and progressiveness.

The proprietors Walter and David have more than 50 years of combined experience in the diesel and fuel injection field. With their knowledge covering almost every make and model and even including Caterpillar heavy vehicles.

Rocklea Diesel is unique in the fact that we offer a wide range of facilities in the air conditioned fuel injection workshop and have three test benches including Bosch and Hartridge with digital printout and a Bosch 711 capable of testing pumps up to 1,000 hp.

Attention to detail and precision are prerequisites for our fuel injection specialists and our large mechanical workshop.

The versatile mechanical team specialises in engine rebuilding, fleet maintenance and general mechanical repairs of earth moving equipment, light commercial vehicles and four-wheel drives.

Additionally, trip preparation and inspection is a special service offered to 4×4 enthusiasts.

In addition to the workshop we service and repair Deutz engines. This section has a fast and reliable service for genuine spare parts, engines and an engine repair and maintenance section.

Rocklea Diesel is committed to the ideal of a complete maintenance centre where specialised and friendly staff aim to meet the needs of all customers.

The maintenance team of eight qualified trades people work in fuel injection and engine reconditioning and general mechanical repairs and maintenance.

Rocklea Diesel is dedicated to maintaining a quality level of service and we are proud of our Bosch Quality Trail Award for “total dedication to quality in the areas of Premises Identity Technical Excellence & Customer Service”.

After seing 2 other mechanics that couldn’t help, they finally fix my Grand Cherokee which had a fuel pump issue. It didn’t end cheap but that would have been worst anywhere else I’d say. At least problem is solved now and they have done exactly what was asked of them in a timely manner.

After having countless issues taking my car back and forth to different mechanics who couldn’t diagnose my issues i called sue and she booked my car in with John who is 1 of the most patient helpful mechanics i’ve ever dealt with. He fits me in whenever I have concerns and always gets my car running in a fast time frame. Obviously the price is a little higher but instead of paying for multiple mechanic visits for the same problem I go in once and get things done right the 1st time so i’m probably saving more in the long run.

A fantastic and honest place. They know Diesel engines very well and are very friendly staff, I imagine the bad reviews are fake reviews. I took my Toyota Prado in and they knew fixed all the mistakes my previous mechanic made.

To be honest, the bad reviews don’t make sense to me. The staff are always lovely and go above and beyond to help and the mechanics are very knowledgeable. They are the first place where I feel like they want me to have a well functioning car, instead of just making as much money as possible. It’s a little bit on the expensive side which is the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, but you get what you pay for and these guys deliver very high quality repairs.
